Glamping in a Spacious and Luxurious Barn in Three Rivers, CA

www.justluxe.com

When looking to travel and ‘rough it’ in the outdoors, not all want to pitch a tent and start a fire from dry brush and a flint. Thanks to the rise of glamping, glamorous camping, people across the country are connecting with nature without sacrificing certain luxurious comforts they have become accustomed to. The term which was officially added to the dictionary in 2016 has skyrocketed the demand for exploring (albeit through a lens), which accommodation site Glamping Hub quickly took advantage of.

Glamping Hub launched in 2014 with just 200 accommodations on its site and has ballooned over the past five years to offer properties worldwide. With more than 33,000 accommodations, their most booked accommodations this year are found in Australia, the US, New Zealand, Slovenia, Portugal, and Morocco. Acting as a third-party platform for owners who decide to feature their property on the site, Glamping Hub acts as a broker connecting the adventurous to their pampered vacation in nature.

When looking for a break from the hustle and bustle and want to go deep in the wilderness but still have access to WiFi, running water, electricity or other amenities, glamping allows you to enjoy these and more modern amenities along with incredible views, unique structures, and secluded landscapes. A trend that can appeal to virtually all types of travelers, glamping brings you closer to nature and brings four-to-five-star amenities along with. From tree houses, yurts, safari tents, nature lodges, log cabins and many more options, Glamping Hub truly is the one-stop shop for the luxury adventurer.

One of their coveted luxury barn rentals is in Three Rivers, CA, only four miles to the southern gate of Sequoia National Park. The Spacious and Luxurious Barn sits on a 270-acre private wilderness river ranch and features 1,800 feet of private riverfront property along with a walking trail that runs the perimeter of the entire property. The property underwent a complete renovation in 2017 making it a perfect gathering spot for a friend’s get-together, family reunion, corporate retreat and more.

The active ranch is home to a plethora of animals (all friendly) waiting for you to arrive and say hello. From their two horses and two donkeys that meet you as you drive down the road to the barn, to the peacocks and chickens (feel free to gather fresh eggs from the chicken coop)that roam freely near the barn, the ranch is also a working ranch with cattle.

Able to accommodate up to 16 guests, the barn features four rooms on the bottom floor while its top floor can act as a private apartment. The ground floor of the Barn has five sleeping areas: three bedrooms with queen-size beds as well as one bunk bedroom with a full mattress on top and a queen-size mattress on the bottom. Additional sleeping spaces on the ground floor include a fold-out queen bed in the living room and den with a convertible sofa. Located on the top floor, the self-contained unit consists of one king-size bed and one full bathroom, a private kitchen and living room, nook with a full mattress and a with a balcony overlooking the river.

Downstairs, there are two full bathrooms, a kitchen, a game room with a pool and card tables, and a flat-screen with DirecTV and a DVD player (TV and DVD player are located upstairs as well). Take advantage of the library of DVDs for guest’s entertainment and snuggle up on of their three couches with a warm blanket, also provided. Outside, there are two seating areas that can be used by guests. In the front, their fire pit is surrounded by rustic wooden chairs perfect to relax on a cold evening while reading a book or making s’mores. At the rear of the barn next to the river, there is a large patio with an extra-long bench seating/eating area with a huge eight-foot custom barbecue. Those wanting an authentic sauna experience in the woods are in luck as the sauna can fit around 10 guests which is across the 30-foot bridge, that can be used at any portion of your stay to step away from the cold.

With 24-hour management from their knowledgeable and helpful caretaker, the clean and organized house is perfectly situated with a beautiful mountainous backdrop. Take time to explore the gigantic Sequoia trees or go whitewater rafting down the Kaweah River or get adventurous and explore the Crystal Caves. This unique property is a lovely haven in the middle of a dense forest and allows travelers to rest, recharge and most importantly travel in comfort. It is also popular wedding spot and has hosted weddings where many guests camp around the grounds (they work with a company that can set up luxury tents for overnight guests who don't want to pitch their own tents) with up to 200 campers around their 190 acres.

So proud! We just received another 5 Star Review!

Thank you, Elisha!

First let me tell you that I was not planning on doing our wedding for at least another year. As I was browsing online for potential venues, I don’t know how I came across Redwood Ranch Three Rivers since it was 5 hours from my tentative desired location. But let me tell you.... I saw the pictures and instantly fell in love. We literally expedited our wedding and only had 2 months until the big day. We wanted something intimate, simple, fun, amongst nature, and had more of a family-union vibe as opposed to the whole-shebang. I saw that Redwood Ranch was able to accommodate lodging and camping for us and our guests— so this was a huge plus because we had to drive out there. I contacted Andrew George and communication was top notch. He and I exchanged conversations on the phone and was able to have it all written down for me through email immediately. I had a lot of questions since I was not able to physically scout this place but he and I had discussions and he reassured and gave me many recommendations. We arrived there just when the sun was setting and I was in absolute awe of how beautiful Redwood Ranch is. It was clean, well kept, and the views was absolutely stunning. There were two kitchens in the barn, which made cooking so convenient. Everyone, including the children, had a lot of fun experiencing camping, sitting along the campfire, playing pool, walking the trail, waking up to the peacocks, seeing the cows, horses, and donkeys, dipping our feet in the water (it was Nov—so the water was cold), and taking photos in such a picturesque place. Literally, even the portapottys were so clean and pretty that my guests were taking pictures... I basically only really had one other vendor which was for chairs and tables and they were able to get to the barn safely. Jalene provided me with instructions to send them to ensure that they don’t get lost. She also emailed me before and during my stay to ask if we needed anything. It was very sweet. Jose, the caretaker, did a wonderful job showing my family around and was just a very pleasant and helpful man. He does a great job taking care of the property! We had a very simple wedding with minimal decor since we didn’t want to bring too much up there, but this place really did not need much—it is beautiful on its own. Our guests were all so pleasantly surprised and voiced out how much they enjoyed just being there. I can’t say enough about Redwood Ranch. I could only wish that we were able to stay longer... Thank you so much Redwood Ranch Three Rivers for the hospitality, the endless views, and perfect accommodation. My family and I have created so much unforgettable memories in our short time there. We would not want to get married anywhere else. I highly recommend booking a wedding here!

Holly & Jake's Picturesque Wedding at Redwood Ranch

Congratulations, Holly and Jake!

From Jake:

Thank you so much for your help organizing and arranging our wedding! You were truly fantastic!

Holly and I had such an amazing time and as soon as we have some decent photos we will send them your way.  Jose was absolutely wonderful and Andrew was incredibly kind. They were telling us you guys have weddings booked there almost every weekend! … Thank you again! We had such a great time. Also, I know you don't want to be a wedding coordinator, however, just so you know, both Holly and I think you have been wonderful to work with!

Please let us know if you need anything else from us or have any questions.

THANK YOU,

Jake and Holly

Thank you for being such great guests and for choosing us as your wedding venue! We loved having you and your joyful party.

We are so happy about another 5 Star Review. Thank you, Robin!

As soon as we arrived at Redwood Ranch, we knew we had to book it for our wedding. It was beyond prefect and the complements we received from friends and family were numerous. We decided to rent the venue for 4 days and I’m so glad we did. It allowed us to truly appreciate the venue and spend time with family and friends. It also made our wedding weekend so much more enjoyable and less stressful. Any problems that did arise, the caretaker was quick to help. We loved our stay there and would eventually love to go back. Too bad I think word of their secret venue is getting out which may make it more difficult to book again!

Tonia & Josh's Ranch Wedding!

Kelli's review of her wedding at Redwood Ranch (...do we need to say how much we LOVE it?!)

 AMAZING.

Words cannot express how incredible this place is. Everything from the caretaker’s hospitality, the trail, the waterfall, the stunning views, the fire pit, the treehouse, all the beautiful animals, the sauna— I could keep going! Andrew, Jalene, and Jose were so accommodating throughout my wedding planning and stay as needed. We got married here and hosted a wedding of 21 total with 9 people in the house and 2 camping outside. We did part of our ceremony at Sequoia which, from the main entrance, is about 30-40 minutes away or the south entrance which is about 10-15. Three Rivers is a cute town about 15-20 minutes from the ranch with plenty of food, markets, and even white water rafting! This is a perfect venue. Thank you everyone!!!!

Redwood Ranch, Three Rivers Wedding Venue "...a luxurious Wedding Venue nestled in the beautiful California Foothills"

Congratulations Kelli & Allan!

A beautiful write-up by Bergen Photography

This Redwoods Ranch Three Rivers wedding might just convince you to wake up at sunrise to see the first light over the Sierra Nevada and then party into the night with your closest friends and family. Kelli and Allan perfected the art of planning a wilderness wedding in a remote location.  They found a luxurious wedding venue nestled in the beautiful California foothills, they started the day with a romantic sunrise adventure in the Giant Sequoias, and they topped everything off with delicious tapahs and paella. This couple kicked off their marriage right and we can’t wait to share their wedding photography.

Sometimes we meet couples and we can’t get enough. They are so fun to be around and to photograph that we get lost in our work. That was Kelli and Allan. They are driven, creative, and vibrant souls that have found a home in each others arms. They fit so well together and yet are strong individuals. It was incredibly sweet to get insight into the tenderness of their love by witnessing moments between them and hearing the words of support from their friends and family. We certainly hope our paths cross again since our time with them was as fleeting as the sunrise we shared. Luckily we helped them kick off their honeymoon in Yosemite so stay tuned to the blog for an epic Taft Point sunset. Congrats you too!

"Redwood Ranch is a Truly Exceptional Venue in the Mountains of Three Rivers, CA"

"Redwood Ranch is a truly exceptional venue in the mountains of Three Rivers, CA. It is a beautiful spot for an outdoorsy wedding and an even better spot to have your guests stay and enjoy. We loved staying there the whole weekend and having our wedding party stay there too. We were able to take full advantage of the hikes and swimming pools on the property. Plunging into a icy-cool pool of water on your wedding morning is a great way to get yourself ready and energized for the big day. I would definitely recommend staying three nights at least (the night before, the night of and the night after) to really get the best experience. It is great to have the animals around the whole weekend and to take in the stunning views on this huge piece of property. The staff at the ranch were lovely, fun and very helpful and we enjoyed working with them all. If wild, beautiful and natural is your kind of wedding feel, then this is definitely the place for you!
